Costs

We ask for a payment for each session, which is worked out on a sliding scale and is kept deliberately low for those on low incomes or benefits. If you have financial difficulties, please feel free to discuss this with your counsellor.

As we are a private charity without major funding, we are reliant upon session payments to maintain our service. If you are able to pay in excess of the suggested payment, please do so. We are privileged to receive periodic small donations from people who make it evident that they have benefited from our service. Please note that in the private sector, counselling generally starts at a minimum cost of £30 or more per session. We regard a payment, however small, as a token of genuine commitment to the process of self-help.
