Independent Practitioners Network (IPN)

Independent Practitioners Network (IPN) is a national body offering peer-accreditation and validation of the work of counsellors and psychotherapists and practitioners in complementary health fields who are its members. The IPN presents a non-hierarchical alternative to other accrediting organisations such as the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). We are registered with the IPN in the capacity of a Prospective Member Group, known as The Derby & Area Group. Upon establishing permanent links with two other groups of practitioners, we will be registered as a Full Member Group.
