Equal opportunities Policy

We principally provide counselling and therapy for people experiencing emotional stress. This is a general human condition, and the principle from which we work is that all people have healing forces within them to combat stress. We thus assist people to recognise and develop those forces within themselves, so designating them self-helpers, and we relate to the whole person. Because of this we deeply respect each individual and strive towards maintaining such respect, whether they are ourselves, people coming to us for help, or people who wish to work or study with us.

It follows that we aim to

  1. develop and utilise the skills, talents and resources of all to the full
  2. ensure that in all matters of recruitment and working conditi-ons, everyone receives just and equitable treatment regardless of age, creed, disability, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, health, marital status, social class, unrelated criminal record, or any characteristic not deemed relevant.
